Daniel Boone Home, in the Femme Osage Valley at Defiance, MO. Daniel Boone lived here and eventually died here in September 1821 -- the year before Missouri was admitted into the Union. The property is now owned by Lindenwood University as part of its Boone Campus. The University has assembled several other historic buildings around the site as an historic village.

Cave Spring in St. Charles County ca. 1930s - 1940s. This area is now a hotbed of growth. Commercial development, restaurants and subdivisions now stand where the old Cave Springs once opened.
